Quarters for the Jukebox

People in Planes‘ single, Pretty Buildings, makes an attempt at building up to an indie-pop emotional point, but at least for me, I had a hard time getting worked up over the chorus portion of ” … that’s you in a nutshell … .” The song takes itself very seriously, and the mixed version sounds fairly generic. The adjoining acoustic track works much better and the two sound like different songs. The acoustic version is worth checking out. Check for yourself.
